About Waggy Days 4 Dogs
Many of us think of our dogs as part of the family, and finding the right person to help you take care of them is a difficult task.
Having worked in the animal health industry for the last three years, I am First Aid and CPR trained, and have a Higher Canine Behaviour and Psychology Diploma (OFQUAL Level 3 recognised) as well as a Diploma in Dog Training, Canine Nutrition and also in Feline Behaviour and Psychology. I also have certificates in Puppy Training and Canine Holistic Therapy.
Working in the animal health industry has been helpful, but my true passion for animals comes from my home and family. Having dogs, cats and hamsters in the family as a child, I was also a keen horse-rider for many years.

In 2012 Ron and Stan arrived, and every day with them is a gift. They are loving, funny and enhance every aspect of life.

Stan is a blue Whippet, and he is a senior gent now. If you are not familiar with sighthounds, you may think that they need a lot of exercise because they are fast runners. This is not the case. Half an hour off-lead, and Stan spends the majority of the day asleep on the sofa, only waking for cuddles and dinner.
Ron is an English Toy Terrier, also a senior chap, and the oldest of my dogs. You may not have seen a dog like Ron before. English Toy Terriers are on the Kennel Club Vulnerable Native Breed Register, with less than 100 puppies registered per year. A typical Terrier, the walk with Stan is not quite enough. Ron still likes to play occasional games, and stays with me all day in case he is missing out on something exciting (and is usually not)!

Our latest additions to the family are Vinnie, our English Toy Terrier youngster, and more recently Vinnie's litter sister Bridget. They are picking up the rules fairly quickly and are working on not barking when someone rings the doorbell, its a slow process!

​We lost our tiny pensioner English Toy Terrier early in 2020, but her memory lives on, as do the lessons that she taught us and our regular guests. We have left Miss Gracie in the slide deck on this page. She lives on in our hearts.
